• Examiner l’architecture logicielle, ainsi que les exigences générales et détaillées par rapport aux exigences du produit et du logiciel.
• Effectuer des revues et des analyses du code source pour vérifier la conformité aux documents de conception et aux normes de l’industrie.
• Exécuter des essais en fonction des exigences, y compris des  essais d’unité (UT), des essais d’intégration du logiciel (SIT), des essais d’intégration du logiciel et du matériel (HSIT) conformément aux lignes directrices DO-178C niveau A, B et C.
• Contribuer à l’amélioration des processus et exécuter des tâches connexes additionnelles au besoin.

• Work as part of the Software team on activities associated with the validation, verification and release of embedded software solutions for airworthy control systems. You will help ensure the safety and reliability of flight control systems through rigorous software verification.
• Review software architecture, high level requirements and low-level requirements against product and software requirements.
• Conduct source code reviews and analysis to ensure compliance with design documents and standards.
• Perform Requirements Based Testing (Unit Testing (UT), Software Integration Testing (SIT) & Hardware/Software Integration Testing (HSIT) as per DO-178C Level A, B and C guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvements and perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications requises/ Qualifications for Position

• Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie informatique ou génie logiciel (les diplômes en génie électrique ou génie en mécatronique avec mineure en sciences informatiques seront pris en considération).

• Personne soucieuse du détail, dotée de solides compétences en résolution de problème et capable de respecter des échéances.
• Expérience des outils Matlab/Simulink ou Pytest, un atout.
• Une expérience de la vérification des logiciels en état de navigabilité conformément à la norme DO-178C ou à des normes équivalentes de certification (médicales ou automobiles) essentielles à la sécurité constitue un atout.

Specific Position Duties

• Work as part of the Software team on activities associated with the development of simulation and testing solutions for embedded control software.
• Participate in software design decisions against product and software requirements.
• Be fully responsible for the development of specific software modules of the product under development.
• Produce detailed design documents following internal standards.
• Perform review and testing of software.

Qualifications for Position

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering. Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering if minored in Computer Science.
• Strong software development skills (C, C++, Python, Assembly).
• Experience with embedded system applications.
• Experience in reviewing or debugging code.
• Familiarity with integrated software design and development environment (SDE) and tools.
• Familiarity with configuration management systems (CM) such as GIT or SVN.
• Good communication skills.
• Have demonstrated ability to work effectively, both alone and as a team.
• Self-learner with an ability to take initiative to improve their own skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while being detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills.

In the aircraft systems integration lab Aviya will develop and install a customized real time simulation bench designed to model both the engine and the engine controller. The bench integrates powerful capabilities for modelling of different aircraft scenarios to determine behaviours and performance of the engine in the overall aircraft environment.

This program win comes on the heels of a recent awarding to Aviya of a similar project that will also utilize the company’s CLB technology.

Both programs will require installation and commissioning of Aviya’s CLB systems in Europe and Asia at aircraft manufacturer’s facilities.
