John Koumoundouros brings to Aviya 20 years of industry experience in software engineering, quality processes, and program management. His day-to-day responsibilities include executive leadership and management, as well as, sales and marketing expertise. Overall, his goals are to drive the company's position beyond industry boundaries, outpace competitors, and ignite a spark in all Aviya employees to generate an environment of exemplary customer responsiveness. John provides the impetus for the infusion of a company culture that raises the bar within the industry for overall employee satisfaction and customer confidence. Working closely with the leadership team, he develops and manages programs that chart the path for all partner and customer strategies and programs. John's core strength lies in his demonstrated ability for deployment of strategic plans and collaborative projects. John holds a bachelor of applied science degree in electrical engineering (with a management sciences option) from the University of Waterloo. |

Basile Papaevangelou is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of maximizing growth and profitability, Basile shapes Aviya's long-term business strategies to drive us through our next stage of growth and further strengthen our market position. Basile is chair of T.E.C. (The Executive Committee) Ltd. In his role as chair, he assists, coaches and mentors CEOs and business leaders in attaining their ultimate professional and personal goals. As well, he also sits on the boards of an impressive array of public and private companies. During a lengthy career with AlliedSignal (now Honeywell International), Basile served as chairman of AlliedSignal Canada, President and CEO of AlliedSignal Aerospace Canada, and Vice President and General Manager of AlliedSignal’s Power Management and Generation Systems business, with responsibilities encompassing operating units in the US and Canada. He is past vice-chairman, officer and director of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada, a founding member of the Conference Board of Canada’s Operating Executive on Total Quality, and former alumni director of the Canadian Advanced Technology Association. Basile holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA both from McGill University. He has also completed the program for senior executives at IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Lausanne, Switzerland. |

Louis Brown plays a significant role in coordinating the business systems and infrastructure required for Aviya to successfully meet the challenges of its current growth phase. He is responsible for all company operations including short- and long-term planning geared toward sales growth, profitability, and cash-flow management. Louis came to Aviya from Honeywell Inc., where his 17-year career included senior leadership roles as controller, director of operations and ultimately general manager of Honeywell's aerospace business in Mississauga, Ontario. Louis holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. |

Billings Chan uses his industry experience and long-range vision to help shape the technical strategies that maintain our competitive edge and keep our customers satisfied. He is responsible for creating and implementing those strategies that align the products and processes at Aviya with that of our customers and the ever-evolving marketplace. His ability to predict and react to changes and improvements in the technology sector allows Aviya to keep pace with requirements, standards and processes laid out by our customers. In addition, he is responsible for establishing technical standards and for ensuring compliance both within Aviya and with all our subcontractors. Billings has an extensive background in systems and software engineering and is a respected expert in the area of software validation and verification. He holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland. |

Joseph Sum is our vice president of engineering. Joseph is responsible for providing momentum in each of our current projects and for sustaining growth on an operational level. He is an expert in resource planning and project management and, as such, is a capable interface between the Aviya management team, our subcontractors, and all of our customers. In this role, he maintains an exceptional record in budget, schedule and delivery adherence. Joseph's key responsibilities include ensuring successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, implementation of formal processes in support of product development, product definition and documentation, and technical resource and development oversight. Joseph has held positions of increasing responsibility at Fortune 500 companies including Honeywell and Motorola. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he holds a bachelor of applied science degree in electrical engineering. |

Baktash Hamzehloo is responsible for Aviya’s strategic in house and external systems engineering capability directly overseeing a group of more than 75 engineers. Baktash directs the day-to-day operations of teams that are engaged in Controls, Modeling, Simulation, CFD, and testing. He is also the executive directly responsible for Pratt and Whitney. Baktash has 15 years of academic and industry experience in Gas Turbine, Controls, Hydraulics, Engines and Management which give him the vision to lead our systems engineering activities. Baktash plays an active role interfacing with Canada’s University network to help guide future engineers with aspirations of careers in aerospace. He is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for Concordia University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Baktash holds a Masters of Engineering in Aerospace from Concordia, as well as, a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technologies. |
