Mississauga, ON, 27 January 2012 - Aviya Technologies Inc announced today that the organization has achieved AS9100C certification following an extensive independent audit by Intertek Group plc that concluded with no findings. Aviya now joins an elite group of aerospace companies that can attest to AS9100C certification.

AS9100C certification is specific to the aerospace and defence field and is available to companies that design, develop, and/or produce aerospace or related products. Any company that is compliant with AS9100C has proven to its testing body that it operates under a very stringent quality management system and can readily meet the demands of international aerospace customers and regulatory bodies.

AS9100C is the next evolution in the AS9100 standard and extensively more stringent than its predecessor, AS9100B.
