Aviya has an opening for a Customer Engineer to join our engineering group in Longueuil.

Specific Position Duties

  • Responsible to complete product specific tasks related to serviceability, maintainability, repair, maintenance, overhaul and operating and maintenance cost
  • Drive the Reliability 2.0 / FRACAS reporting
  • Support/Drive the aftermarket Program Management meeting
  • Support/Drive the Publication Meeting
  • Support/monitor flight test and track/mitigate aftermarket impact
  • Work with engineering to close-out open aftermarket field issues
  • Complete Availability analysis for existing and new models
  • Maintainability studies on specific components
  • Coordinate partner, supplier activities to ensure repair and instructions in the manual’s needs are met
  • Manage publications change requests
  • Gather, analyze field/repair data to recommend repair/inspection needs to meet business case
  • Complete Customer Service trade studies for DMC in order to meet program commitments (Internal)
  • Lead and coordinate the third-party supplies scopes and tasks
  • Identify and communicate product risks and mitigation plans

Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Aerospace
  • Master’s is an asset
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Fully bilingual (English & French)
