We have an opening for a Business Development Manager to join our engineering group in Longueuil.

Specific Position Duties

  • Develop strategy and business plans to develop a new service center network and engine upgrade program
  • Lead new processes/product/service proposal efforts, and execute on the roll-out strategies
  • Co-ordinate and work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, Quality, Finance, and other internal organizations on customer focused issues/events
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of deliverables according to customer needs and objectives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics. Follow-up on any necessary corrective actions
  • Explore and convert new opportunities in order to transform business processes and service offerings to develop and implement a maintenance and repair service network and develop an engine retrofit sales campaign in the next 3 years
  • Understand trends, customer requirement and support the development of new service offerings

Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing/ Commerce/Business Administration or Engineering with over 10 years’ experience
  • Master’s degree with over 7 years’ experience
  • Has a deep knowledge of the aviation industry through diverse job experiences.
  • Has experience with engine repair facilities, fleet customers in Regional airline industry and experience of delivery of services
  • Strong commercial & technical skills and able to define value proposition to customers
  • Able to understand aircraft maintenance and operations
  • Possess a wide network of customers and influencers
  • Strong in building and maintaining relationship with key stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management including executives and able to present complex information to various audiences
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity to identify and create new business opportunities in untapped areas
  • Has a strategic mindset with strong influential leadership
  • Flexible, resilient and resourceful to adapt to a constantly changing and high-pressure environment
  • Result-driven, demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage resources to meet objectives within defined time frames
  • Demonstrate skills in project management and credentials in delivering strong business results required
  • Develop a good understanding and knowledge of government regulations
